Marketing Skills — a marketing playbook for your agent

Most AI agents can write marketing copy, but they write it without knowing your product or your customers. Marketing Skills gives the agent one shared brief about your product and 52 focused playbooks, from landing pages to cold email, so every task starts from what you actually sell.

Marketing Skills is a collection of skills for AI coding agents, built by Corey Haines. Each skill is a markdown file with a workflow and best practices for one marketing task. When you work on that task, the agent recognizes it and follows the right playbook.

It is free and open source under the MIT license, and it works with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and any agent that supports the Agent Skills format. On 26 October 2026 the repository had 52 skills and about 56,000 stars on GitHub.

One product brief in the middle, joined by lines to boxes for SEO, conversion, copy, ads and email.
Every skill reads the same product brief first.

How it works

One skill is the foundation. The product marketing skill writes a short context document about your product, your audience and your positioning. Every other skill checks that document first, so you do not have to explain your product again for each task.

The skills also point to each other. Copywriting, conversion and A/B testing work together, and so do the SEO audit, schema markup and AI search skills.

What it covers

What to know first

The skills give your agent knowledge and workflows, not access to your accounts. To let it read your analytics or ad data, you connect those tools separately, and the project has a guide for that. The README also lists paid partner tools, and it says partners never influence what the core skills recommend.

How to install it

The quickest way is the skills command line tool:

npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills

In Claude Code you can also install it as a plugin:

/plugin marketplace add coreyhaines31/marketingskills
/plugin install marketing-skills

Then ask for the work in plain words, for example: “Audit the conversion of my pricing page.”
